- Administer as a single oral dose of 3 mg pyrantel base per pound of horse body weight.
- Use the syringe’s four weight markings, each for a 300 lb increment.
- Deposit the paste on the back of the horse’s tongue by inserting the syringe at the corner of the mouth and fully depressing the plunger.
- Raising the horse’s head may help with swallowing.
- Replace the syringe cap to preserve unused paste.
