- Add the treatment to aquarium water at a dosage of one teaspoon per ten gallons to achieve a concentration of 0.05 ppm for general parasite and fungus control.
- For Ichthyophthinus treatment, increase dosage to within 0.10 to 0.15 ppm as needed.
- Repeat the treatment daily, changing at least twenty-five percent of the water between treatments and conditioning new water before addition.
- For fungal prevention on fish eggs, use either short-term baths or dips.
- Remove activated carbon from filters during treatment and replace after treatment to maintain efficacy.
